This week, on Journey to June, I spoke to Alice Cotter, Josi's music teacher. As founder of Little Bird Music, she is both musically gifted, and magical. But here's the thing...she's not just a teacher, who loves to inspire her students to keep learning. She is also an eternal student herself, someone passionate about learning how to learn.
Like all Soulstigators, her journey has had its share of struggles. But she has used her passion for learning to navigate those struggles, and finding fullfilment in her purpose.
When you listen to her story, you will see how much integrity and passion she injects into all aspects of her life. She talks about how important it is for us to live each small moment with purpose. And how eventually, all those moments will come together to make something beautiful.
This was such an important takeaway I had from this week's podcast. Because there are often times when we feel lost. Or when we don't know where we are headed. In those dark times, it's important to focus on the "now"; and simply take one intentional step after the other. Eventually, our feet will take us where we need to be.
That is possibly THE BEST WAY to describe a meaningful journey.

To give you some context, Dharma at Big Sur is a piece of music composed by John Adams in 2003. One of the magical things about this piece is its ability to capture the natural beauty and grandeur of Big Sur – a rugged and scenic stretch of California coastline that has long been a source of inspiration for artists, writers, and musicians.
When I listening to the composition, I found it to be a haunting and evocative combination of classical and modern music, which is such a tricky balance to strike.
Overall, Dharma at Big Sur is a truly magical piece of music that captures the beauty and spiritual essence of one of California's most awe-inspiring landscapes.
